Mt. High Season Pass Madness
This past Friday 686 headed over to the Vans Skatepark in Orange, CA for the Mt. High Season Pass Sale. The event drew tons of local shredders to come purchase season passes, check the new gear and watch the latest snowboard flicks.
Temperatures scorched close to 100º so we fought the heat by raffling off tons of new gear and throwing a dance-off competition with our friends from Omatic. Many dancers brought their A-game but in the end were all out-danced by a 5 year old girl wearing a pink bunny skate helmet. She slayed it and took all the prizes.
Luckily no one would leave empty handed, soon we raffled off tons of 686 gear and an autographed Louie Vito Omatic snowboard. Good thing he fought all the LA traffic to come down and show his support. Derek Dennison on the other hand flew in from SLC with the rest of the Technine crew to promote the world premier of their new film, Hard To Earn.
In the end tons of product was tossed, autographs were signed, and people went home praying for snow. Here are just a few photos to recap the days madness…
