Hey Mates!

Another summer is passing by and here are some of the freshest pics and videos from the Indonesia trip with my girl. This time we surfed the Sumatran South and then moved on towards Bali. Pictures are from Rip Curl Padang Padang contest, Bingin and Uluwatu and for the videos I have to thank GoPro.com for the perfect shots from my surf mount!

While on a recent trip to 686 and southern California I had the chance to link up with team rider Forest Bailey for some good times, photographs in our new Spring line, skateboarding, and a good ole fashion Southern Californian hang! We got into town busted out some videos to go along with the new ad campaign for 2012 and visited the boys at Snowboarder Magazine. Forest’s skateboarding is all time that is for sure and the magazines had nothing but good things to say about the kid. Marc killed it with the photos, George was on it locating spots, the crew got it done and I look forward to seeing the response from our efforts down South!

Recently while in Mt Hood Oregon I got the chance to compete in the “Parsky and Slush Mt Hood 2011 Pow Gloves contest”. It consisted of a day on the slopes trying to complete 2 180’s 2 360’s 2 540’s 2 720’s and one 900 while coaching your kids at camp, catching mad air and have a witness no easy task but super fun none the less. Dave Reynolds the head coach at High Cascade was my witness it was good to try some tricks and Dave and I road hard but it was encouraging to know that you have a golf game awaiting and the weather cooperated which can be rare here in mt hood. About 30 golfers hit the course down in Welches, Oregon the course was in great condition and everyone was enjoying the setting. Lush and green is a great way to describe Oregon in the summer. A few pars, a couple bogeys, a couple holes in one at the mountain and we wont get into the rest the day was complete. Thanks to Kaiser at Pow Gloves and all the sponsors of the event for making “the Parsky and Slush” so memorable I will be back next year.

Austrian shred Phil Handle made all the right decisions. He exchanged the cold and wet weather here in Europe with some nice waves and lot’s of sunshine in Sri Lanka. Here are his impressions of the trip, they made me jealous.
