We were in Innsbruck this Friday for the new Pirate movie premiere. Basti and his team changed things up for “Unique 8″ : only eight riders are featured in the movie in the intent to give more room for each individual’s talent.
It was also the first time the Pirates went all-digital with brand new RED cameras, a bold choice, but when each person involved in the project ups his game to new levels, the challenge is met so remember to check out “Unique 8″ as it is arguably the best flick the Pirates ever came up with, establishing them as a global leader in snowboard videos.

686 is very proud that global team rider Marco Feichtner is involved in this project since day one, this year again he delivers a rock-solid part with more backcountry shots than you can count. Marco wasn’t on his own that night since most of the 686 crew from Austria was there as well. Thanks to Sebi, Conny, Alex, Arthur, Wagi, Phil and Peta for representing. Too bad Basti had to leave early : his sister was getting married the next day. We’ll definitely get you back next year !
