Hello, My name is Benoit Thomas-Javid, most of my friends just call me Ben TJ, it's easier. I grew up in the French Alps and skied like most kids do at a young age. One day I saw a snowboarder doing something like a rodeo on a ski-lift, I knew right away that I wanted to do the same so I decided to leave my ski gear in the closet and started snowboarding. 

I live in Gap which is near a cool resort called Vars which has one of the best snowparks in France. Vars also offers lots of good backcountry spots where my crew and I like to build kickers in the Winter. I'm not really a contest guy, I'd rather ride the backcountry and find good street rails when there’s no pow. I started filming with Harakiri Productions a couple years ago and I'm quite happy with the part I got in the movies, especially the new one : “En Voiture Simone”. Check it out ! When I'm not snowboarding, I like to skateboard and party with my friends. I started a neckwear brand called P.A.G (www.pag-nkw.com) together with 3 buddies. After I'm done with snowboarding, I hope to focus on this brand and grow it.

This year my plan is to ride with the Harakiri crew wherever we will find good snow, jibs and rails, and score the best part I can. See you out there !
