Kevin Zacher began his career with a degree in Photojournalism from Northern Arizona University. He went on to Los Angeles, California where he worked with the trendsetting Raygun Magazine. His increasing interest and experience in this urban youth culture led to a myriad of opportunities including an exclusive contract with Burton Snowboards. From there Kevin traveled the world and spent the last 10 years documenting the thriving culture of board sports while compiling a library of images that chronicles all aspects of his subjects’ lives and livelihood. Kevin relocated to Salt Lake City for the duration of the contract where this transient lifestyle landed him snowboard video cameos and global notoriety.
Now back in Los Angeles and free from contract obligations, Kevin brings his incredible experience and insight to all editorial and advertising assignments. His client list includes Holden, Hummer, Bugle Boy, Sunset, Burton Snowboards, Analog Clothing, Gravis Shoes, K2 Sports, MTV, Quiksilver, Roxy, Nixon Watches, DC Shoes, and Boost Mobile, to name a few. Kevin’s photography has also appeared in magazines such as The Fader, Interview, Complex, Popular Science, Golf, and TransWorld SNOWboarding. He has received awards from How and ID magazines for cover and editorial photography.
